Christ as the Reality, Andrew Cho

I live in Irvine, California. I came to the U.S.A. six years ago and am currently serving the Lord at the University of California at Irvine. On November 30, 1993 I met some believers in Dallas, TX. I found out that they met as the local church. From that day I began to fellowship and pursue the truth in the Bible with them. It was so enjoyable. On the one hand, their care and love was so cherishing, like a real family; on the other hand, their presentation of the truths in the Bible was so clear and nourishing. I gradually fell in love with the Lord Jesus and at the same time began to love reading the Bible.

Before meeting with the local church, the Bible was a “nice and moral” book. That was it. Furthermore, the Lord Himself was not real to me at all; He was just mysterious. But the more I spend time in the local church, and the more I read the Bible with the help of the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, the more I love the Lord and the Lord becomes real to me. I would say that I have become a pursuer of Christ. Christ is truly reality to me!

Because I have enjoyed Christ as reality in my life, I want to speak about Him as the real One to others, especially to young college students in this crooked and perverse generation. I personally believe that this generation needs Christ as reality. I also have the full assurance that the local church and the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee can help today's generation to know Christ as the reality so that they may become genuine pursuers of Him! Praise Him!
